Aveer is looking for a senior backend engineer for an exciting consulting role within retail and customer data management. The role involves working with a strategic and global Customer Master Data (CMD) system – a central component of a modern IT landscape and the single source of truth for customer information (“Golden Record”).

The goal of the system is to integrate with as many internal and external systems as possible to ensure data quality, maintain legal compliance, reduce manual work, and provide colleagues with efficient tools when handling customer information.

You will work with an in-house developed product within the Customer Engagement domain, delivered to multiple markets worldwide as part of a new global offering. This assignment offers the opportunity to contribute to a key component of an ongoing digital transformation in the retail sector, with a focus on how customer data can enable other products and teams to work more efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop backend services in a Microsoft Azure environment

-Implement integration schemas, best practices, and data models

-Work with event-driven architecture and system integrations

-Design and maintain high-quality REST APIs with clear contracts and versioning

-Set up and maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines (Dev, Ops, and Sec)

-Deliver high-quality, purpose-fit code

 Required skills and competencies: 

Tech Stack

Primary Language: C# (.NET 9 and later)
Architecture: Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), Microservices
Patterns: RESTful APIs, GraphQL
Monitoring: OpenTelemetry, structured logging, distributed tracing

Nice to have: 

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Experience with Customer Master Data in an international environment
